Hard dance fans on the East Coast have a new date to circle. Wasteland Orlando, the first Florida edition of Insomniac’s hard dance festival, has revealed its opening lineup for two days in February 2027 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
The headliners
The top of the poster is Venetian hard techno duo 999999999, hardcore veteran Angerfist and Norwegian hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz. More than 40 artists are on the bill across hard techno, hardstyle, rawstyle and hardcore.
Who is playing, by sound
- Hardstyle and rawstyle: Vertile / The Saints / The Purge / SIHK / Riot Shift / Lady Faith / Dual Damage / DJ Isaac
- Hardcore and hard dance: Water Spirit (from Orlando) / Rob Gee / Mad Dog / Hixxy / Dr Donk / DEAD X
- Hard techno: Taylor Torrence / Shogun / Naomi Luna / Flash Gea / Fatima Hajji, plus plenty more
Also on the poster: Vieze Asbak, Rooler, Lil Texas, Kuko, KAYZO, JSTJR and Dømina.
How the weekend is set up
There will be three stages, all newly designed. Basscon and Mutate, two Insomniac brands, take over one each, and Unreal Germany is producing a stage you will only find here. VIP ticket holders can also get closer to the action at the Headliner stage.
Tickets come in GA, GA+ and VIP tiers and are on sale now at wastelandfest.com.
Why Florida fans should care
Until now Wasteland has been a West Coast affair, a specialist space for harder sounds. Florida gives eastern fans a shot at these acts without crossing the country, and booking Water Spirit gives locals someone to cheer for.
One caution: sources differ slightly on the exact days, so check the official site before you book flights or a hotel. For more on the scene, see our music festivals coverage and artist news.
