If you are already thinking about next August, Boomtown 2027 just gave you a reason to start planning. The first closing acts are out: BICEP will end the Sunday at the Lions Den, and NOISIA will take the final slot on the HYDRO XL stage.
What is confirmed so far
- Dates: 11 to 15 August 2027
- Place: Matterley Estate, Hampshire, UK
- Lions Den closer: BICEP, on Sunday
- HYDRO XL closer: NOISIA
No other set times have been shared yet. More names should follow when the festival unveils its first full wave of acts on Thursday 26 November.
Two very different final nights
BICEP, the dance duo, will play Boomtown for the first time. The pair say they have tried for years to fit it in and are thrilled their live show is finally coming. Fans who have wanted them on a Boomtown bill can stop waiting.
NOISIA are a drum and bass trio, and they will finish on a large drum and bass stage. Put the two bookings together and the closing stretch of the weekend looks like it will have real range.
A changed site for returning visitors
Boomtown calls its next chapter WILD STYLE. It includes a reimagined Anara Forest area and the unveiling of The Transportal. This new feature will link the Downtown area in the festival’s bowl with Copperwood Heights and Thrutopia on the Hilltop.
The festival says the new build is meant to make getting around a highlight rather than a chore. Anyone who has been before may find the site feels quite different.
Tickets and what to watch for
Tickets are available through the festival’s official channels. Mark 26 November in your calendar for the bigger lineup reveal, and in the meantime you can read our festival power rankings or browse the wider music festivals section for other events worth planning around.
