If you are planning your spring around GRIZTRONICS 2027, start clearing your calendar: the weekender is getting longer. Subtronics and GRiZ say the second edition will run three nights at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.
Dates and trip planning
The hosts shared the news in a skit video on Instagram. The festival takes place over Memorial Day weekend, with a few details worth noting:
- Dates: May 28 to 30
- Pre-party: a Thursday pre-party, which Subtronics called a for-real one
- Camping: the campground opens on Wednesday
- Venue: the Gorge, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge
With camping open from Wednesday, fans can stretch the weekend into a five-day trip if they want to.
A fix for last year’s entry lines
The first edition had a rough start for some people. Long waits to get into the campground and the venue hurt the debut.
This time, the hosts promised more entry lanes and more gate staff to make arrival smoother. It is a visible sign that the organisers heard the complaints.
What we still do not know
The announcement did not include a lineup or ticket details. Subtronics and GRiZ have not said when either will be revealed.

Why the early date helps
The Gorge is a well-loved venue for dance music fans, but it is a long way from most cities. Camping, travel and time off work all take lead time, so knowing the dates now gives you a head start. It also leaves time to line up friends, rides and a spot at the campground before the crowds arrive.
