Internationally acclaimed electronic act Leftwing : Kody is ready for the floor, as it teams up with new mysterious duo Robot Collective for the crafty, R&B fueled house gem “Love Like This.” Revolving around catchy lyrics from 90’s hit “My Love Is The Shhh” the song lifts up on a radiant house groove, touchy bass lines and dramatic strings, turning the classic vibe into a whole new DJ weapon – out now on Spinnin’ Deep.

UK duo Leftwing : Kody knows how to build bridges. With over a decade of experience, they’ve constructed a solid reputation with both the underground and mainstream audience. It’s their techno inspired tracks that strike a chord, always featuring warm grooves and powerful melodies, honoring the classic house sound while building something fresh for themselves.

Crossing genres is what they do, and they do it brilliantly – emphasized with early hits on labels like Desolat, Moon Harbour, Toolroom and Sony Music (where they dropped a hit remix of Kelis’ “Milkshake”) to recent popular tunes like 2019’s “I Feel It,” 2021’s “Coming Home” and last year’s moody club gem “Only You,” a teamup with Grammy-nominated writer/producer duo Goodboys.

“Love Like This” sees the guys move further on its R&B styled dance excursions, teaming up this time with Robot Collective. This yet unknown duo launched itself in January, dropping the funky house debut “Oochie Wally” on Lee Foss’ label North Of Neptune.

Now, both acts deliver a fresh gust of oldschool vibes, bursting out with upbeat lyrics from 90’s one hit wonder Somethin’ For The People. Their massive ’97 hit “My Love Is The Shhh” provides a grateful feeding ground for a brand new 2023 club anthem, as the vocals are accompanied by a subtle house groove, going strong on moody bass lines and tasty percussion. As the vocals gain strength on soulful crescendos, the beat dives deeper, while strings create a dramatic background. It’s what makes this record a force of its own, blending those raw R&B emotions with touching chords and powerful tech house rhythms.

Initially, “Love Like This” will take you straight back to the heyday of 90’s R&B, but as the groove unfolds you’ll end up losing yourself on the dance floor, swept away by a mint house production. Just catch a love like this, and you’ll get the ride of your life.
