Ibiza gearing for next summers- Covid rapid testing

The scenario of Corona Virus has impacted the complete summer of 2020.

Ibiza, Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of Spain – has become well known for its association with nightlifeelectronic dance music and for the summer club scene, all of which attract large numbers of tourists – the world’s craziest place for night clubs, a paradise for people who love to party saw a complete shut of activities this summer.

The govt officials are developing a protocol to create a safe tourist corridor for the UK and Europe for next summer. This hopeful and interesting plan, which comes out of the hands of Spain’s Tourism Minister, Reyes Maroto, aims to implement a safe entry and exit to the island. This would ensure bilateral security so that none of the countries of origin or Spain would be exposed to the virus due to tourism.

Tourists coming from countries with an AI (infection rate) greater than 50 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days have to undergo tests. This would mean that before boarding also they have to submit a test with a completion date of fewer than 48 hours with a negative result. The govt believes that this would reduce the risk of bringing Corona Virus to the island.

This would reduce the risk of bringing the virus to the island. On the other hand, tourists from countries with an AI of 50 or less, don’t have to be tested before flying, but this is only the entry process.

While leaving the island the tourists will again have to undergo Covid-19 tests to avoid spreading infection in their home country. Provisions for quarantine will also be intriduced If the results are positive. This test is free for tourists.

Fingers Crossed !! If we are not able to produce a vaccine – proobably we will have to live with it. THis looks like a good way of battling Covid 19. Hope the next summer is breezy full of happiness 🙂
